Consider trying some of those tips that Dr. Bakker gave us on a previous show:
Get up at the same time every day and go to bed early enough to match it!
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, heavy spicy food, TV and exercise close to bedtime. “What’s left to do?” I hear you ask. How about reading a magazine or a good book.
Sleep tip: Schedule a massage to relax the mind, increase serotonin levels and you may sleep like a baby. Do you fall asleep when getting a massage?
Sleep tip: Stick to a sleep schedule. Try going to bed at the same time. Being consistent reinforces your body’s sleep-wake cycle and helps promote better sleep at night.
